A Taste of Things to Come

I’ve been working on a kitbash project for a little while now and part of that project involves people. 1/35 scale people to be specific. Looking around online, I’ve gotten a little carried away buying cheap scale figures. Here’s a look at what I have. What could these possibly be for?

You can see that the level of detail on 1/35th scale figures is a lot higher than on 28mm game pieces, particularly on the clothing and the folds/creases of the cloth. You can also see that the techniques that you can get away with when painting a 28mm face do not apply particularly well at this larger scale. Lastly, in the middle photo, you can see that a painted figure has had the head removed. Those of you who are familiar with Maschinen Krieger or Ma.K, might know where this is going, but for those who don’t, stay tuned!
