Battletech Continues: Franken-mechs

I really like the modern miniatures for battletech, but there are a handful of older metal models from the range that have also caught my eye ( see the marauder and original highlander in the previous battletech article). So this week I have created two unholy chimeras. A High-rauder or a Mar-lander perhaps. The marauder arms look quite good, but the legs are way too gangly. Perhaps I will replace them in the future, if I can justify cutting up another model to get some legs.

I especially like the squat proportions of the marauder torso on the highlander legs. Bonus points if you can tell what mech the left “arm” comes from, as it is neither the highlander or marauder.

Expect to see these two again soon once I have painted them.
