Firestorm Armada Dindrenzi Patrol fleet

Alongside the BFG ships I’ve been posting here I’ve also been working away on some firestorm armada. The ships are great, nicely detailed and (at the time of purchase 7 or so years ago) well priced. The clear acrylic flight stands are pretty bad though, barely fitting the socket on the ship and the socket on the stand.

The paintjob on the flagship is not my own, it was painted by the previous owner. I quite liked it though, so it’s here to stay.

Although Firestorm armada has been out of print for some time now, the rights to the game is owned by Warcradle studios, who at the time of writing have been promising a new edition for several years now. Whether or not the game ever does return, the last edition of the rules is available for free, so I will be trying to get a few games in soon.
