Paint pot Robot Scratch build

Inspired by the Big Bot Bash, a youtube collaborative project headed by Bill Making Stuff, I decided to try my hand at making a robot from household junk. In the end I used a GW paint pot, a pair of broken headphones (the volume adjustment button went on the back and the body of the earbuds became the hip joints), some brass sheets which were from a super conqueror kit, some Rhino tank tracks, a metal riot shield (kneepads), plastic rods, a wooden bead, two disposable chopsticks and the shin portion of an AC model.

The base plinth is the lid from an old coffee container. Extensive use of super glue with baking soda was required to get the legs to stay put.

I’ll be painting this up in a very rusty/ weathered style in keeping with the Bill making Stuff style, so expect to see a part 2 in the future.
