3D printed Armored Cores?
That’s right, I am once again talking about armored core. The addiction continues.
Right out the gate I want to say that these figures were printed in a resin I have never encountered before, which is somewhat rubbery. This is great for durability, but I’m not convinced that it is good for miniatures. It is too soft to be sanded, so the marks left from the removal of supports are a pain to deal with.
This is the first repose, achieved by snapping off the limbs and regluing them. I also used some metal parts to replace the arms, specifically a Battletech missile pod from a timber wolf and the assault cannon from the retro sentinel mentioned in the previous toy-bashing article.
The McDonalds mech. This needs another 5 coats of yellow.
