Guyver miniature

A couple of weeks ago I picked up this 3D printed miniature of a zoanoid from guyver, the 1980s anime OVA which was followed by an early 2000s reboot as was the trend at the time. The original sculpt is by the well known Papsikels. The definition in the detail of this print is truly exceptional and has set a new standard for me going forward.

In terms of game use, I think this guy will work well as a generic monster-man or swamp monster type for games like stargrave or frostgrave.

This is quite a large miniature at approximately 40mm from the base of the foot to the highest point on the back (not the back tentacles). Here it is next to a more standard 28mm figure, one of EM4s “cybertech bunkerbreakers”.
