Heavy Gear Blitz

Heavy gear blitz, much like Battletech during the early 2000s was a staple of american miniature discussion, but (in my opinion), somewhat rare in the UK, which is why I have never bought a model from this game until now.

I know almost nothing about the lore of this game, but I think the miniatures are cool and though the game is 1/144 scale [citation needed], a lot of the mechs could work in 15mm or even 28mm as some kind of robot/ droid/ power armour.

I really like the wheeled foot design, it reminds me of the knightmare frames from Code Geass, though I know that heavy gear came first (and I’m sure that was probably inspired by the mechs from VOTOMs).
